Terms of Service

1. Development Status
Snodo is currently in active development (beta). Features, interfaces and functionality may change, be added or removed at any time without prior notice. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Snodo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Service Description
Snodo is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for architecture studios and construction professionals to manage projects, tasks, files, invoices, communications and team collaboration.
The Service is provided "as is" and may be subject to changes, interruptions or discontinuation without prior notice.
4. Account & Registration
To use the Service you must:
- Be of legal age or have parental/guardian consent
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
5. Data We Collect & Store
The only personal data we store is your email address, used exclusively for authentication, essential service communications and, if you opt in, product updates.
Any project data, files or content you create within the Service is stored solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data or content with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.

6. Third-Party Services & APIs
Snodo integrates with the following third-party services to operate. Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy and DPA:
- Supabase — Database, authentication and file storage (EU region eu-west-1)
- Vercel — Application hosting and edge network
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
- Google APIs — OAuth sign-in, Google Calendar sync, Google Drive file import, Google Maps / Places address autocomplete (optional, user-authorised)
- Dropbox API — Optional file import (read-only, user-authorised; OAuth tokens are encrypted and Dropbox credentials are never stored)
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- Sentry — Error tracking and performance monitoring (sensitive headers and cookies are stripped before transmission)
- PostHog — Product analytics (EU-hosted at eu.i.posthog.com; production only)
- Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — Core Web Vitals and performance monitoring
- Upstash Redis — Server-side caching and rate limiting
- Vercel AI Gateway — AI-assisted features (usage is rate-limited per plan)
- EU VIES — VAT number verification across EU member states
- Aruba Fatturazione Elettronica — Italian electronic invoicing via SDI (credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM)
Optional integrations (Google, Dropbox) require your explicit authorisation and can be revoked at any time from your account settings.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorised activities
- Violate third-party intellectual property rights
- Upload or share defamatory, offensive, discriminatory or illegal content
- Attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Use bots, automated scripts or other means to overload the system
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or resell the Service without authorisation
8. User Content
Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights over the content you upload or create on the Service (files, messages, comments, projects, etc.).
Licence: You grant Snodo a limited, non-exclusive, transferable and sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify and distribute your content solely to deliver and improve the Service.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and share such content.
Removal: Snodo reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability, however:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability
- The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or force majeure
- We are not liable for interruptions caused by external factors (third-party providers, internet outages, etc.)
10. Fees & Payments
Some features may be subject to fees:
- Fees are indicated at subscription or upgrade time
- Payments are due in advance according to the chosen plan
- Fees may be changed with 30 days' notice
- Refunds are governed by the applicable refund policy
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of the Service
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not guarantee the Service meets specific requirements or is error-free
- We are not liable for loss of data, profits, business opportunities or indirect damages
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months
- We are not liable for third-party content or other users' actions
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snodo, its affiliates, employees and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
By you: You may cancel your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive use of the Service
- Failure to pay (for paid plans)
- Prolonged inactivity (with prior notice)
Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy, except where legal retention obligations apply.
14. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, source code and content (excluding user content), is owned by Snodo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
17. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent
- No Agency: These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship
